Trains suck
Apr. 19th, 2013 02:44 pmSo I'm going home for the weekend, so I want to get the train and underestimate the time it'll take me to get to the station from my new house. (okay i did it 10 minutes which is what i thought more or less, but i didn't give myself as much leeway)
No problem anyway the train has been delayed for 40 minutes because of animals on the track, oh and it doesn't stop at the station i want to go to any more for some reason. woo!
so i have to wait for the next one which is an hour later. Lucky my new house is close enough i can walk back to it in the mean time and write this to y'all.
and the other thing: the weather will just not make up its freakin mind at them om ent. this morning i was feeling too cold on my way to work in just shirt + coat. so to walk to the station i got t-shirt + light jumper + coat and bam sun comes out and i'm frying.

And that was where I got up before realising If I didn't move quickly I was going to miss my stop. Not much and it probably won't go far but its an idea that's been swimming around the back of my head since reading/writing Smutty-Claus sign ups last year.
eta: half an hour and over a page of A4 that was. And its tiny. darn.
