Yesterday's train rides yielded this; banter, cluelessness and amateur fashion design.

First part
---
"Who else here would understand?" Daphne said spread her arms. "I'm glad you got invited. It's bad enough having to get dressed up like this without being bored stiff as well?"

"Yes, I can see your objections by how understated your chosen dress is." Harry said, sarcastically and then releasing what he was saying he felt a slight flush come to his face.

Daphne's outfit was, in truth quite extraordinary ; a full length dress robe of a deep dark blue colour. It was made out of a sheer material that clung very well to the curves of her body. Though at first glance Harry had had to wonder if the dress had been completed before she put in on; there was deep slash in the material on the left side from the hem of the dress nearly up to her knee and the right sleeve and strap were entirely missing. Instead a long glove of the same material as the dress sheath that arm all the way up to her bicep. Her lnog blonde hair was tightly bound behind her head in an elegant knot.

Fortunately Daphne did not seem to take too much offense and instead a grin curled one side of her mouth and she said,

"Well if you're going to do something, do it right. Or so I'm told."

Harry barked a laugh and responded,

"And by 'do it right' you of course mean 'try and upstage you sister on her wedding day?'"

"Why Harry, I'm quite sure. i don't know what you mean." Daphne's smile grew wider and her eye's glimmered with amusement. This brought them to Harry's attention for the irst time. They were blue, just a shade or two lighter than her dress and seemed possessed of a fascinating depth.

After a second or two, Harry realised he was still staring avidly into her eyes and coughing awkwardly, he broke eye contact.

"Ahem. So.. err.. when do we get some food at this do?" He said hastily.

Daphne blinked in confusion a couple of times but when she spoke she still sounded confident.

"I'm certain you'll find something around here you'd like to eat."

"Yes, I expect you're right." Harry said.

"Well I don't suppose I can continue to monopolise the time of such a famous person, Harry. I'll be seeing you around."

And as quickly as she arrived. Daphne disappeared back into the crowd.

Well, I'm not sure how much more of this i'll write under these circumstances before I actually have to plan things out. but then that usually kills my interest in these things.
