So it turns out there is masseffectkink Meme. Which is still partially active.

And is completely anonymous. Prompting and filing and everything. Pro: I guess people can't judge you at all for what you prompt or write. On the other, you can't really make fandom friends and I'm not sure if/how I'm supposed to archive or admit to any fics I might/might not possibly have written. Maybe.

So asoiafkinkmeme you disappear for a few months to let us recharge because prompting and filling was down.

Now you're back and... prompting and filling well well down from what it was before.

go figure.

ps. I'm just bitter because no one went for either of Jon/Irri prompts. I reserve the right to post weird pairings that make no sense dammit.

In other news, I continue to blow past my self  imposed deadlines for finishing smutty_claus and sending it to beta. And i'm slightly annoyed that the kinda superfluous introduction scene at the moment extends for a third of the length of the fic.

Just something I was musing on while writing my last asoiaf fic. Jon Really does seem to live by the words, Familly, Duty, Honour.

Normally he's all about honour. Except he'll forsake, honour for duty, breaking his honourable vows if its actually part of his duty to stop the wildings and serve the watch.

And then of course there's familly which trumps everything. Any time we see Jon not go with honour Or Duty its basically because he wants to go help his family.

So ironally considering how Catelyn feels about him, Jon really does seem to live up to tally ideals....

So third week of work down and things are still pretty touch and go as far as actually having work to do  has gone. Been busy for a couple of complete days but the shorter day on friday and i had nothing to do. Spend most of the time till leaving 13:30 guiltily surfing the net on my work comp.

Today I've been doing to usual lazing about, being online, watching a film and reading Master & Commander. Which is not a patch on Hornblower as far Napoleonic naval books go. 

But i'm just feeling restless, like I should be doing something more, though I've no idea what.  If nothing else I should be writing. Spent most of the day waiting for asoiafkinkmeme's new round to open and am still uninspired by the results. I want to write that threesome prompt for you Luna or one of your prompts from earlier rounds but its just not flowing. 

Maybe I burnt myself out with asoiaf already.  

So in summary: blah. 


also LJ has convinced me i need some delicious delicious battenburg. i need to go food shopping tomorrow anyway. That's the other sucky thing. I need to plan meals and food a lot better. But a lot of time I just feel too lazy un motivated to actually cook much. I fail at self-sufficiency.
