Got to write, procrastinating. Get Lucky posting date on Saturday.

I forget my sister was coming home tomorrow for an early mother's day celebration as she can't come next weekend, (Mother's day in the UK.), so I may not be able to write much tomorrow evening.

Fuuuudge.

eta: woot. its 0040 tomorrow now but i got it all written. What state it's in is another matter.

Theresa May is planning to call a snap election for June. She does have to get it past parliament but still. Do not want. If she gets it, she'll probably increase her majority and get even more of a mandate for all her brexit malarkey.

PS. Reposting from LJ since I don't have DW Access from work. since I wrote the opposition Labour have decided they are okay with the election so very likely to happen. But of a lose lose situation for them. Either they don't vote for it and look scared or they do and have to fight an election.

Yeah I should try writing that some time soon. Or writing an outline. Or coming up with a better idea...`

HELL. Darn. Blast. I am some kind of idiot. Really.

I gone and lost my damn id card for work. The one that lets me into the building. The one that lets me clock in and out to prove i've been there. The one they took like two weeks to make in the first place for some reason.

No idea how i did it. i've got the silly red clip on thing that came with it but no card. I know i used to clock out this afternoon. no i;m home niowhere to be found.

only thing i can think happen is i stuck in a pocket that had something else in it. like my mp3 player then when i pulled the mp3 out later to listen to it dislodged the card from my pocket. either that or i just randomly put it down at the sink or something when i went to the loo after clocking out.

So i'm panicing, random searching my room and feeling like a complete and total idiot.

I booked tomorrow off work but i know i feel like i should walk into work and try and find or at least report in missing and get the ball rolling on getting a new one.

So its sort of a good news bad news sort of thing. Been applying to jobs for a year long industrial placement between semesters of my Computing Masters and got a call this morning. Hey we want you to come to an interview... (awesome) tomorrow. (Ohshitohshitohshit.)

Then a couple of hours later they phoned again. To move the interview from 3.15 pm to 11:15 am. Thanks guys. Real Helpful. Also the company's coming to uni to do it. No, not the campus you go in. The other one in the other city. That I've never been to and will need to catch a bus to get to.

Luckily the placement is a)more management than computing, that's not really my thing and also b) would involve moving to london. Also my thing. So If I screw it up, I can console myself with the idea its not really a placement I'd want. Just view the whole thing as big old practice session.
