I got my submission in for hp_halloween in today and an email from smutty_claus saying it's a month until deadline.

Yeah I should try writing that some time soon. Or writing an outline. Or coming up with a better idea...`

Well it wasn't unexpected! And I'm sure we'll both get something in for it. Did you have any luck writing your idea?

Nope. I haven't started writing a thing yet. It feels daunting.

That email made me nervous too. I've got almost 3K words written, so I'm obviously a good deal further along in the process than you are. I just get nervous of deadlines. I feel like I was close to wrapping up my Interhouse fic a month before the deadline, but I don't think I'm at the halfway mark of that here.
