The Light Of Daye

As TV Tropes would have it the Ten Minute Retirement, where the main character decides they will no longer do what the series is about. No heroics for them. And of course it usually ends with them getting back in the saddle by the end of the episode and hero0ing up. Which means their previous hestiancy was just a big ol' waste of the watchers time.

I remember being especially annoyed with this mid-Series 7 of Doctor Who, it didn't help that his impetus for his retirement was the loss of his companions, Amy and Rory, in an equally horribly contrived episode.

But mostly this post is brought to you by Walter White who has started and stopped cooking meth at least three or four times by episode 2 of season 3.

ok landlord, I don't mind you're religious. You never really bring it up and don't hassle me to convert or anything so we're all good.

i don't even mind that music is your hobby. Everyone should have one after all.

But seriously, your recording room's door doesn't even close properly. It's not at all sound proofed. If you're going to do that. Go somewhere else. Somewhere i don't feel like moving around outside is going to muck things up for your recording, or going to the loo, or having a shower like i like to do in the evenings.

And don't do it nearly every night all this week.

And please please please, Jesus may have saved us all and is the sovereign of everything. But the eleventy-oneth time i hear it in a evening i begin to feel less well disposed towards the guy.
