Oh goodness. I'm feeling such a grim person at the moment. I wouldn't say I have a happy place. I wouldn't say I am unhappy but that phrase just doesn't figure into my mental vocabulary.
I guess what I would say is the old cliche: curling up with a good book at the end of the day. It's not a panacea ut it does take your mind off of things and take you away to a different world.

Date: 2019-02-16 09:52 pm (UTC)So a friend suggested as new year resolution to keep a journal where every day I write down 1-3-5,etc good things that happen that day. (it can be as small as 'The weather was nice today, or I ate a delicious meal, or I heard my favorite song on the radio,etc" or big 'I got to visit my BF,got a pay raise, reconnected with childhood friends, etc)
It really helped keeping a more positive outlook or have good stuff to think about when i'm sad
