I think it's biggest strength and biggest weakness were the same thing. It was a very fun and funny film, fast paced with a gag every minute. But it kind of undermined any drama it could and should have got from the Ragnarok concept.

The latest Marvel films seems to have gone too far into comedy with out the balance for seriousness other films have had.

My 2p anyway.

Yes, in a way that's what I meant with a bit much. There wasn't much time for serious developement or character growth, because the jokes were everywhere. It was great fun, but it lacked some balance.

Still I had a wonderful time. With Infinity War coming it was probably for the best. The the trailer of first part reeked of enough despair for two movies.

Yes, I agree.

I've been avoiding seeing The IW trailer. CW's one revealed far too much. I've seen a lot of speculation it's going to kill off a lot of people whose contracts are nearing their end. Or they'll be a big reboot to bring in the X-Men characters they've acquired.

So we'll see.

Oh, not sure I want to know. I've only seen a few rumours on twitter. Saw the trailer at the movies (before watching TLJ).

LOL, I was in the cinema twice in as many months. Wonders do happen. ;p

No problem. I'm not sure it's going to be a great movie with such an amount of stars who - for sure - all want to have their screen time. But I'll watch it anyway. :D
