Why is the Rum always Gone?

So I was planning to do this anyway because firewhiskeyfic is tomorrow. But other news solidified it. I bought me some rum today. Then I drunk a tiny amount of it neat and remember why I don't generally drink. Lol. Lots of mixer tomorrow.

I also got some beef jerky and chocolate. The Beef jerky will last a few minutes once I open the pack. The Chocolate a few days.

The Rum? Almost forever.

Ha! There are worse reasons I suppose.

Thanks! Doing some test drinking now to see how much I might need to be properly befuddled at the right moment.

eta: a sample: "I’ve had three mall glasses of rum and I fell a little bit tpusy but for the mostp art my typing seems undaffected. Thoguh for full effect I a mtrying t oremeber not t o back space but I do it automatically at times.
