The Light Of Daye

One doesn't like to make too many posts about it because they become repetitive and even less interesting than their already low starting point.

But dang my 'muse' will not cooperate. Even when you've just written something and want to ride that high. Even after a short thing like the double drabble I did and then zip. Nothing happening.

Then there's that annoying dichotomy of 'don't want to force it' but also 'sometimes you have to so sit down and make yourself practise writing'.


As always hope everyone is doing well and staying as safe as they can.

Realised I hadn't made a post in a while. I'm still here y'all.

Still haven't written the two fics this month that are my self set target. Or ay least not posted stuff. I did managed to write and submit my nextgen fic on time. So there's that. Decided not to count that or smutty claus for my goals though.

I have ideas for SC but nothing solid yet.

People keep leaving work for new jobs and it promises to be busy for the rest of the year, double so since as ever I need to use up holidays.

And the political situation just gets more and more fun. Such is life.

Mostly recovered from my cold, just noticing I get tried very easily at the moment. That could just be me being a wuss.

No writing, I re-read Guards! Guards! in a lovely new hardback copy I got for christmas and am Slowly working through the novel Sharpe's Honour. My folks having to me the boxset of the eight main Sharpe novels from the free library at their dance club. I enjoy them but will give them back to the library when I'm not done as they're not books I feel like I want to re-read like the naval series.
