The moon is bright tonight. I only know because I'd forgotten to water the garden plants until way after sundown.

Funnily enough, whenever my step-sister and I would have private conversations around people and/or we wanted to change the subject we would always segue with, 'Mars is bright tonight'. It would annoy the parents but it was great fun for us.
