Week Ending

End of week burbling:

• Weekend! Hurray. We may be doing our family walk tomorrow instead of sunday. since mum has a choir concert then.


• Work continues to be okay. Seems like the end of the three month trial is perhaps not marked by any official reveiw or anything. Not that people seem to know what's going on organisation wise. My manager there started a month after I did.


• I am terrific geek.


• okay you already knew that.


• Why I bring it up is my amazon purchases this week were: a book on quilting. a star trek t-shirt and the complete Babylon 5 Universe DVD set. I've only seen the first series of B5. But it may end up like the breaking bad or farscape sets. Not rewatched often.


• The quilting book is for a friend! Honest.It's a late birthday present for a friend I am seeing over easter. There will be star trek movie marathon, themed food and drinks and X-Wing minitiars games to play with my friend's husband.


• the geek thing bares repeating.


• Time is running out at hp_humpdrabbles' You Wish event. Ending on the 31st. Several deserving people have yet to have gifts. And me as well,. :P


• I may be jinxing this. But I do have an idea for the fest I'm trying to write. And by trying to write, I mean procrasting and writing this post instead.


• Oops.

I would have mentioned it. Unless I was just trying to get into it now. Maybe I should. My friend's quilts are very good and warming. Amazon is being slower than normal to dispatch things. I feel sure the things i want to get take on my visit will arrive too late...
