hp_nextgen100's prompt #291:"Love". I struggled with a few different ideas before remembering I've wanted to try writing Scorpius with his Auntie Daphne for a while. Not like this though, lol.

It was Aunt Daphne who found him after the service. His father had been too busy playing host at the reception but she sought him out.
Scorpius Malfoy sat slumped down in the corner of his room. Silently, Daphne sat next to him and handed him a plate of food.
"I'm thirteen, you can't just win my affection with sweets and cake any more."
"It only hurts so much because we loved her so much," Daphne said after awhile.
"Is that supposed to help?" He said venomously.
"No, but it's all I've got." Auntie Daphne replied and didn't leave him.
