It was surreal to be sitting down to tea with Minerva McGonagall thought Molly Weasley, it happened to be just them in Grimmauld Place at the moment with Sirius Black having disappeared into the attic to sulk hours ago.
Molly hadn't been a student for nearly thirty years so it was ridiculous to be intimidated by her old transfiguration teacher.
"This is delightful, Molly thank you," McGonagall said.
Something about the way she used Molly's first name made Molly remember she hadn't been that intimidated by McGonagall thirty years ago. Thirty years ago Molly had been a stunner; thirty years ago, McGonagall had smoother skin, darker hair and still the same stern attitude.
Back then it had done things for her; Molly remembered some very silly fantasies she'd had about detention, McGonagall's desk and a well applied ruler.
She blushed and stammered and her hands suddenly shook with the teapot more than ever.
"Oh, you're w-welcome Minerva," Molly said using her first name with some effort.
McGonagall was looking at her, as if she could see exactly what she was thinking but she seemed to mistake the cause of Molly's nervousness because she said gently.
"It's all going to be all right, Molly."
Internally, Molly sighed with relief, if McGonagall ever found out about those thoughts she'd be booking a trip to Obliviator Headquarters out of pure mortification.
Still, Molly shifted uncomfortably throughout the rest of their meeting, those old thoughts were hard to shift now they had been aroused.
