hp_nextgen100's prompt #275: "University (Magical or Muggle)" and rather than invent a magic one this is what came to mind.

The Potters were all sitting around a table outside in Muggle London on a hot summer's day regarding Albus Severus, who had invited them out for lunch, was looking uncomfortable and hadn't said why.
They'd all got there drinks and Al had mustered courage to talk when:
"Al? Al?" Came a voice from down the road. "Alfred?"
Al jumped sightly then rose half-out of his seat and waved.
A young women with spiky brightly dyed hair came over, smiling uncertainly.
"Hi," she said.
"You're early," Al said, blushing. "Everyone, this is Julia. She's a university student... And she's my girlfriend."
James was grinning at him in amusement but Al hoped that Julia hadn't noticed the emphasis he'd placed on the word "University" and that his family had.
"Hadn't you told them about me, Al?" Julia said, sitting next to Al.
"I was getting around to it." Al muttered.
"So what do you study?" James asked.
"Astrophysics," Julia said.
"Oh, like Divination?" Lily said.
"You're thinking of Astrology," Julia said with a smile. "No, it's like how stars and space really work."
"But you're a M-" Lily started and stopped when James kicked her.
"Must be interesting" James finished for her.
It wasn't hard for James to get Julia to talk about her studies, and Al watched his parents nervously. They looked a little surprised and happy but Mum's confusion was growing the longer Julia talked.
She tried though and Dad gamely attempt to add to the conversation, it was clear though that James was leading the effort.
After a few more drinks they parted company with Dad inviting Julia out to dinner at a pub later in the week rather, than invite her back to their home, Al realised that they could only keep that up so long without suspicion.
"A Muggle, Al?" Lily said bluntly when Julia was out of earshot. Neither of their parents had commented but neither told her off either.
"Nothing wrong with that," James said.
"Yes," said Dad, "I agree. If you're happy, Al…?"
"I am!"
"That's good enough for us. We'll see her at the weekend."
When they parted ways, Al held back to talk to James.
"...Thanks James." He said in a low voice.
"What are brothers for?" James smirked. "Alfred."
"I didn't tell her that was my name." Al said blushing. "She assumed. You try telling someone you're called Albus Severus though."
