I think the sales lady won that one...

So last week my glasses feel apart for the umpteenth time and I lost the screw that held them together. The upshot of this was I had to go to the optician's to ask them to repair it. (which they very nicely did free of charge) And since I was there and since I've been needing new glasses in like forever. I booked an eye test for today.

Now, even if i hadn't want to replace my glasses anyway, I need a new prescription so they get a lady to show me around their displays of frames. And of course she show me some pretty expensive ones and somehow I don't manage to say ';no i really was looking for the cheapest ones possible'

And walk out paying £125 for a pair of glasses and an extra £30 for extraclear lenses the opticians reccommended.

Now this does get my a second pair for free which I am getting tinted lenses for. But still... Think the lady earning her wage today from me. lol.

I don't wear glasses. But I don't think I would be thrifty when it came to something that was going on my face. Money well spent, I'm sure.

oh god i don't even know. i have like no sense of style anyway. the sales lady said they looked good but then she would wouldn't she?

they're sort of like my existing ones only with slight bigger arms dual coloured black and silver.

I shall post pictures next week when I get em. maybe.

I tend to trust salespeople when it comes to things like this. Yeah, the commission is what drives them. But they fit frames to people all day, and they really do want you to look good. Someone might ask where you got them. I think they sound snazzy. :D
