hp_nextgen100's prompt #265: Cottage. I had trouble rating this.
Al Potter leant on the wall outside the building and smiled wanly as Scorpius Malfoy gushed about it.
“Look at those intricate windows, and that’s genuine thatched roofing!” He continued in this vein for quite a while.
For someone who’d grown up in a Country Manor house, Scorpius was very interested in this tiny two up, two down Cottage that he’d insisted they Apparate to the Lake District to see.
“Yeah, it’s great,” sighed Al.
“What?” Scorpius said. “What’s wrong?”
“It’s just… When you said you wanted to go Cottaging,” Al said, “this is not what I had in mind.”
