After three weeks away with the Aurors, James returned with bags under his eyes and red hair bristling over his jawline.
“James!” Dominique exclaimed, tackling with a combination hug and kiss that staggered him. “I missed you.”
“I can tell!”
“Why don’t you relax while I slip into something more comfortable?”
“There’s no place like home,” James agreed sauntering into their bedroom.
Dominique emerged from their bathroom with make-up applied and clad only in bra and knickers and stockings made of lace and a sheer translucent pink material.
James lay face down on their bed, dead asleep and snoring loudly.
