Summer Heat

It's too hot to write, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

It was superhot last friday and then crashed over the weekend but was warm again today. I think humidity went up or something because it was a draining today as it was when it was much hotter last week.

Sister visiting for Father's day and we cooked a meal on Saturday (pork chops, mash and mushroom sauce), cards and presents and a walk on sunday. Went okay and sister went back before the mass rail strikes this week.


As far as fandom goes weasleyjumpers is doing a prompt fest, so if you have any weasley prompts that's the place to go.

And on hp-nextgen-fest now on tumblr is posting. Lots and lots of Slash. A few gen and a couple of cross gen Het pieces as well.

I feel guilty because if I wanted anything to read in it; I should have written it for myself apparently.

In non HP things, I binged watch the Invincible cartoon and I've been watching Ms Marvel as it comes out Disney+ each week.

I mean people like what they like, I'm not trying to knock them but alas my tastes are eclectic.

Oof! Glad the good things hopefully balanced out the meh? I had my first Father's Day and that was pretty exciting. :D

How are you liking Ms Marvel? It looked interesting.

Congratulations! I hope everyone's feeling better and the kiddo properly spoiled you!

I'm enjoying Ms Marvel so far but I'm a pretty soft touch when it comes to Marvel series. The characters are endearing the pacing has been a little odd but nothing that's turned me off it.
