neville100's prompt # 480: Cupid
Lavender Brown couldn’t believe that Parvati had done this to her, pulling out of their planned meal and leaving Lavender alone with… him.
“No Parvati, yet?” Neville Longbottom said lightly.
“She sent an owl,” Lavender said. “Can’t make it”
“Oh Good,” Neville said.
“Good?” Lavender asked.
“Well.. not good good, but we’ll be all right together won’t they?” He said with a smile. They both blushed deeply.
Parvati had set them up, Lavender was sure of it.
By the end of the evening, neither had made a move until at the last second Lavender mustered the courage to kiss Neville.

Neville Longbottom was in Heaven or rather in Lavender, which was pretty much the same thing to him at that moment. She’d surprised him with the kiss but it had felt so good and right everything had flowed from there.
They’d ended up in bed at his place, entirely naked. Lavender’s eyes has been wide as with one shaking hand she’d guided him into her.
Lavender seemed surprisingly shy; she buried her face in the crook of his neck as he thrust easily into her. The gasps and moans she gave though reassured him he was doing a good job.

Parvati Patil noticed that Lavender appeared rather tired but extremely satisfied at breakfast the next morning.
“Morning Lavender,” Parvati said. “How was last night?”
Lavender looked like she thought Parvati was taking the mick.
“Like you don’t know,” She said.
“Huh?”
“Your little trick playing cupid of course.”
“Again, huh?”
“Setting up a meal for three with Neville because you know I fancy him and then disappearing.”
“Lavender…” Parvati said. “Padma went into labour last night. That's why I missed the meal.”
“Oh,” said Lavender and then blushed and grinned at her.
Parvati grinned back and heard the whole story.
