Hugo was only half listening to Lysander’s rant.
“it’s barbaric, right? They’re beautiful magical creatures and we just chop them up and use for p-po… for...”
Hugo looked up, nothing could stop Lysander when he got going. Then he saw who had walked past.
Lily Luna was more cute than beautiful and her scarlet hair was an untidy mess but what she did have was long and shapely legs.
They were covered in tight shiny black dragonhide that was like a second skin.
After a long moment Lysander closed his mouth and he said nothing more about dragons all night.
