Just a quickie stolen from luna_plath... not as dirty as that sounds ;P

1. Your first ship ever: I guess the very first? Tommy and Kimberly, The green/white ranger and the original pink ranger on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. It was like all romantic and shit when I was eight or whatever. Thanks.

2. A ship you've just discovered: Harry/Demelza. Who response is probably 'harry/Who?' Well Demelza was the name of Harry's third chaser on his quidditch team. She brought Harry a letter from Dumbledore once and Ron made her cry. Naturally this is nothing that fanfic writers cannot work with so I present two Harry/Demelza fics I thoroughly recommend;

1. A Comment fic from Tam. Wherein Demelza has moved into Grimmauld place and seduces Harry with her forgetfulness.


2. Inconvenience and General Chaos Wherein Demelza locks Harry in a stationary cupboard to seduce him. (part of hp_humpdrabbles's Humpathon, go take part!)

Both of these were written by tamlane and are to my knowledge the only two in existence. Guys? This isn't good enough. This must be rectified. Both play up a mischievous seductively Demelza playing on a noble clueless Harry and incredible fun rides.

3. Your OTP: You know I don't think I have one. Harry/Luna is certainly a ship I felt most strongly about in a 'this should have been canon-sense' but i don't write it and there's not so much of it to read out there. Now Harry/Pansy is the opposite. it can be immensely fun to read or write but there no way in hell it could ever be canon and there's literally zero evidence for it in the books.

For the most part I'll write Harry with any girl approaching his own age. (and by this I mean i have written or contemplated writing him with Tonks, Bellatrix, and Narcissa.) But that sort of fails the 'One True' part of OneTruePairing.

Aw shucks, thanks for the rec. I'm kind of in love with Demelza, which is strange because I totally plucked her out of nowhere when I needed a random seductive cheese-ruiner. I agree that folks need to go write tomes of Harry/Demelza.

I can totally see a romantic, shippy little 8-year-old Daye. I will spare your manly pride and refrain from keyboard mashing over the cuteness. You were an early bloomer. I don't think I had my first official ship until I was 11, when I went rabid over Anne Shirley/Gilbert Blythe. Sigh. There was so much hate sex potential there.

Lol. I dunno if that was much into it as a ship but it sucked when Tommy left but that was mainly because the green ranger was awesome who knows. I may be misremembering what I felt like lol.

I think Harry/Luna is probably the ship I've really got passionate about to the extent of arguing with people about.

Alas Harry/Narcissa is one of the those ideas that never reached the page. But had vague ideas (probably stolen from somewhere else) that Harry owed her a magical life debt after the end of DH and she'd be using that to ride him... to power. ;)

Tommy/Kimberly forever. But it looks like he and Cat hung out together much longer. I was a major Power Rangers fan. I just need to get the DVD collection of all the episodes and rewatch them all. I watch the movie when I'm in need of nostagia.

I think my first "ship" (before there was such a term) had to be Lestat and Jesse. *ducks head shamefully* Yes, yes, I was a huge Ann Rice fan, long before JKR dreamed up little Harry.
