Harry always knew the monthly budget meetings were boring, but he didn't realize just how boring they were until Pansy Parkinson offered to show him something a little more interesting.

This is something close to perfection for me. It's certainly my favourite smutty claus piece so far (apologies to anyone on my f-list whose fics may have gone up before this.) It's just fun. Pansy and Harry are both heads of departments at the ministry and are stuck in boring fianicial meetings. So Pansy starts to flirt. And so begins a long tale of surreptitious teasing, one-upmanship, dirty talking and dodgy activities in the workplace.

Like I said its lighthearted, avoiding any baggage from their school days, no 'post war government hates slytherins' no 'you tried to sell me to Voldemort' cliché. But the characters still feel like them. Harry is still slightly hesitant and disbelieving but willing to take action if properly motivate. Pansy is not the bitch she was in school but is still sly, manipulative and quick witted.

And together they are smoking hot. Give it a try, i hope you won't be disappointed.

As the school turns on him yet again, it falls to Harry’s friends to help distract him.

This is exactly what it says on the tin. Two pairings in 6.5K well its not surprising this is low on plot and high on sex. In an unspecific AU, Harry is unpopular with everyone and highly stressed. In comes Daphne, telling him that in the Wizarding world, casual sex is totally okay and encourage. Sex ensues.

It's Harry's first time but that doesn't stop him rocking not one but two girls worlds. There's some fun banter worked in there and Harry is typical clueless to start with about Daphne but mainly this is a fun sex filled romp. Enjoy!

I've not really read much at hprarefest yet but this fic caught my eye:

Moon-struck | Harry/Luna | PG-13 | 3.6k

This author always goes this pairing very well. (not that i have any idea who it is *shifty eyes*). It's a nice introspective peice and emphasises Harry's continued troubled nature even after the Battle Of Hogwarts in a simple and effective way. And shows how Luna's nature allows her to accept him as he is.

Harry is moody and troubled here and Luna is eccentric but the mark of the quality of the writing is that these qualities seem natural and not silly or over the top in any way, which is a difficult mark to hit.

I've said it many times before, and i'll likely say it many times again. But i enjoy writing and reading a lot of pairings wit Harry and some pretty obscure girls but Harry/Luna is the only pairing I'd say I 'ship' in the sense that I think it could/should have been canon and I think this fic outlines exactly why they'd have been perfect for each other.
