Summary: Asami likes seeing Korra in action
A/n: Written for Sapphic Spring hosted byelasticella. For the prompt "Any: any/any- Iresistible" from anewhope303. I opted to use Korra and Asami from "Avatar: The Legend Of Korra". I'm a bit rusty on Korra and haven't read any of the expanded universe material for it but this would happen approximately in the Third Book of the show.
There’s a small crowd of mercenaries between Team Avatar and their goal; Earth Kingdom bullies and a couple of freelance benders from other nations.
But Korra is the Avatar and they aren’t.
She charges them before Asami can react. Korra’s a waterbender by birth but with a very earthbender like attitude, straight to the point.
They hurl boulders, Korra reduces them to powder without breaking stride. They throw fire and water and Korra bursts through a cloud of steam, unharmed. Then she’s among them, tripping them with fire blasts and smashing them with slabs of rock.
They can’t stand against her; she’s completely irresistible.
Half their number are on the ground groaning and the other half are in full retreat when Korra turns back to rest of Team Avatar; there’s a sheen of sweat on her face and strong arms but her blue eyes are alight with energy and she’s grinning at them, broadly.
Asami stares.
“Close your mouth, Asami,” Bolin says in a loud stage whisper that Mako only pretends not to hear.
Asami closes her mouth, no one says anything about not staring though, or tells her heart to stop beating double time.
She’s irresistible, Asami thinks again.
