Sunshine Challenge: Blue

So these challenges haven't clicked with me so far but this one did:

If you’d like a more specific idea to kick things off: share with us some songs or albums that remind you of the color blue or its theme.

And it reminds me the time of Batman showed off his singing voice in Justice League Unlimited which was done by his regular voice actor Kevin Conroy:

Thanks for the vids, I don't remember this, Batman singing, but it has been quite awhile since I watched some of these programs. Poor Bruce is angry and sad at the end of the second clip. I think that is way I stopped watching Batman Beyond back in the day, it made me sad that Bruce was old and alone in that mansion, Alfred's dead, and all the previous Robins hated him and never visited.

Bruce's fate in the DCAU is pretty sad. But he does get a little better in Batman Beyond with Terry about and he makes up a little with Barbara in the show and Tim in the movie.

It's a little odd/sad that because Justice League/Justice League Unlimited were made after Batman Beyond but set before it any progress Bruce makes in being happy and being part of the team, doesn't stick.

He's ship-teased with Wonder Woman in the JL shows for example but she's not part of the past love interests he shows pictures of in the second clip (Out Of The Past)

Awwww, poor Batman, but what a voice! The women passing hankies, LOL!

That whole episode was hilarious. The purple haired lady Circe had turned Wonder Woman into a pig and at the end of the episode this was the price he paid to have her turned back.

Because cartoons based on comic books make sense.

Ahh, I totally forgot about that episode where Batman sang in Justice League! Good stuff. ^^ I'd also forgotten the one in Batman Beyond, and now I really want to rewatch both shows. ^^

I remember the "Am I Blue" and "Batman the Musical" scenes. Makes me want to rewatch the DCAU shows. I wonder when the crews working on the shows discovered that Kevin Conroy was a good singer?

Not a clue, I skimmed through his wikipedia page and it doesn't look like he's sung professionally otherwise.

These are a delight. I didn't watch Kevin Conroy's Batman past the original Batman: The Animated Series, but it's good to know that he's got great singing ability!
