Picard Episode 9

I'm going to reserve judgement until part ii but mixed feelings thus far.

• All the existing characters are great and related well and have nice scenes
• They pulled a fast one of my with 'special guest star Brent Spiner' I was expecting more dream Data.
• Not especially a fan of a new member of the Soong family. I don't know for sure if it explicitly contradicts TNG but it's strains belief and is a bit hokey
• Him and the androids becoming antagonistic is sad but predictable.
• Seven was under used.

It really does all hinge on the way it pans out in the last episode.

I also wish we had gotten a lot more Seven, but I'm hopeful that underused characters/plotlines may appear on the second season.

I am hoping that Picard doesn't end up being transferred into another body, but I am sort of a Hamlet ending kind of person. :P

It seems likely. If the synth stuff gets neatly rounded up the xBs seems a logically driver for season 2.
