Back To Work

At work today. Sorry, I've been meaning to post more but I've been gaming way to much. My sister's home for the holidays (and her uni is closed for two more days so she gets more holiday than me! Boo! ) I've been playing a lot of video games and doing our family activity; countryside walks.

Which is all well and good until it started hailing on us as we went up a hill, and then there's a flash of lightening and less that a couple of seconds later there's this endless roll of thunder. Seriously too close to comfort.

And I saw a couple of my high school friends and we mooched around the shops and had lunched and watched Thor. So all in all a good weekend has been had. Aside from the lack of writing.

Your weekend sounds fun. That hail episode sounds sort of scary and exhilarating all at the same time (mostly because I've never seen hail, that I can remember - every time it hails in Jamaica it's always in a place I'm not). Did you get rest? Because that is important before you go back to work. When is your next bank holiday?

I slept a bit during the early parts of my holiday weekend. I went to lunch with 2 friends (2 separate days) and got to do the social thing a bit. Then yesterday I had family catering event so now I'm tired all over again. Back to work. I need another another holiday now.

Hail is little balls of ice. Its nit to bad if they are small and not blowing dirwctly in your face.

Tried to get to bed early last night. Never seems to work as I read last thing and suddenly it's half eleven.

Next bank holiday is start of May. Can't wait!

I know what it is, I've just never had the experience. What you experienced this weekend sounds scary and exhilarating.

It was fun until having to work yesterday.

I can never seem to go to bed early the night before work either. What are you reading.

Our next holiday like that is on May 23. I'm jealous you get it earlier.

I have a bunch of books on my reread list this year too, including HP. I haven't done a reread of that in a few years which is weird since I used to reread annually.
