Too many prompts!

asoiafkinkmeme is evil and I need to stop spending like my entire day there reading prompts and fills.

Way to many half completed works. I keep getting distracted from my 'romantic' Bran/Meera fic to write kinkier stuff like the Jon/Val/Ygritte fic I posted. Or a Robb conquers the Iron Isles and takes Asha into his bed fic.

And there's a half completed Jon steals Val fic on my  harddrive but that was getting squicky because 'stealing' is sort of like rape. Val's not unwilling but that doesn't mean she doesn't fight it as hard as she can. Jon's got to be worthy of her after all. 

And luna_plath ?  I also have ideas for a Jon/Arya fic based on your prompt for it. But the setting was King's Landing and in my head its sort of transformed into a Jon/Arya/Dany triangle. Is that ok?

But a lot of these things I may not finish or post and it means no work at all is being down on my poor HP fics.

I think you should write everything you've just listed in this post, lol. I would love to see Jon/Arya/Dany. And I know what you mean about the stealing/rape thing, but I guess you just have to warn for it at the beginning of the fic. I feel like most people in this fandom would understand though, if that is what concerns you.

Everything I've completed recently has been for the meme. It's so much fun but it sucks away all my writing time.

I'm stuck with Bran and Meera, I don't know how I managed to write so much lead up for them. It's about five thousand words and the smut has just started.

Maybe this is just me, but I see the lead up as the hard part, with the sex as the easy part, as far as writing goes. I'm good at describing things, which works to my advantage when writing about sex, but not to my advantage when doing background/initial stuff. Sometimes I just get carried away.

I would LOVE to read about Bran/Meera. There's not much about them in fic.

Yeah, I guess you need future fic and or radical AUs to really use them. What with the age difference and the whole cripple thing.

Bran is oddly absent in a lot of future fic come to think of it.

I'm not sure if canon Bran can have sex or not, just because it depends on how much control he has over certain muscles. It is possible for people who are paralyzed to have sex, but it depends on how severe/how the injury manifests and I don't think GRRM has given us enough info to figure it out either way.

Maybe there's less Bran fic because there are already male characters that authors would rather write about--like Robb, Jon, Theon, Jaime, etc.

Also, if you're worried about the flow of the story/the 5k lead up, I would love to beta for you. Sometimes when I'm in that situation I have a hard time deciding what parts of the story are necessary and what parts become too much, which is when I find another set of eyes to be useful. A lot of the time I'm just lazy and edit my work by myself, but it can be useful in situations like this. i. e. not being able to see the forest for the trees.
