So long time, no post.

Ordered myself a new Dell computer to arrive towards the end of the week. I went for a Desktop over a laptop so that should give me a bit more bang for buck, processor/graphics wise. And I'll actually use my desk for a change rather than sticking me feet in my bed.

Nada plans for Valentine's day, but no change there. Not hugely put out about it but, I must care a bit otherwise I wouldn't be mentioned it.

Dropped a prompt for "My Bloody Valentines" at hp_darkarts, read through the prompts, but like at Rarefest, nothing is really jumping out and demanding to be written. I'm in a real 'woe is me, I'll never write again' slump which I've been in before so... maybe, maybe not.

Yay for new computer! I'm a teensy bit jealous of your acquisition. If you feel something funny this week it's probably my jealous vibes crossing the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic coming at you. :D But it's jealousy with love.

I had no Valentine's Day plans either. I stayed home, watched tv and read fanfiction. There could be worse ways to spend the day, I suppose.

Haha! The advantages of clean living, living at the parents and not going out.... Money to spend on such things. Hope it will keep me doing for a good few years.

Sounds fun to me! Did you enjoy Deadpool? I hope things didn't get too awkward with the bloke you were doing with.

I was about to start whining that I do all those things (including still living with the 'rents) and I don't have a new computer but then I remembered that I bought a new phone for my birthday 2015 (Hi Rupert!), I bought a new tv in December (Hi Sebastian Samsung!) and I'm trying to buy a car (hopefully I will meet my goal of early April) so yeah, I get it. Yay for clean living! And yes, I do name my stuff... *hangs head in shame*

Deadpool was awesome! It was jokes from credits to credits. I can't even believe the director and the writers put in some of the jokes that they did. There was on Jared Fogel/Subway joke that had me in shock for a minute. I couldn't believe they went there but it was great. Thankfully, it was a group of mutual friends so it wasn't awkward and there were 2 other girls there who I've been acquainted with bordering on friends with for a while so that was good.

Ha! I did formally christen my laptop Lucy when I restored it to factory settings last year and it asked for the computer's name but I don't mentally call it that.

Glad it went well and you had a good time! :) PRetty much tallies with what I've heard about Deadpool. Might go to see it but I'd have to go alone.

I don't name it int he settings but I call it that. All my friends know which gadget I'm talking about when I call the names. My Kindle is named Felix and my laptop is Walter (because he's a crotchety old fart who only works well when he wants to).

It's totally worth it. I would go alone to see it again. I'm sure there are jokes that I missed while I was laughing at others.
