lightofdayeWell I stayed up to nearly 3 finishing my fic. And thankfully my beta looked through it in double quick time (&hearts) to it was waiting in my inbox this morning. Hurray.
Now my mail program only lets you open attachments and not save them. So I open up the file. Read the doc making most of the suggested changes. Save it and shut word down intending to come back later to give it a final reveiw and submit to the mods.
...I have no idea where the program saved it. If at all. Googling suggests it's in some hidden temp file structure somewhere but it's not in the one they said and it may not be there at all.
So... rinse and repeat I think.

Date: 2015-11-27 01:53 pm (UTC)Sounds like time for Google indeed. I create a file called 'Downloads from Google Chrome' and use that as my Chrome destination. Once something is downloaded from that browser it goes there. Otherwise, I'd be lost. You could probably also have your computer prompt you for a location every time you download something, that way you put it where you want it to go.
