Yeah, i am branching out/grasping for straws for GYWO days. HP people (or otherwise uninterested) don't feel you need to read of course. lol.

Title: The Next Iron Man
Word Count: 174
Rating: G

Disclaimer: The characters, settings and Marvel Comics/Marvel Cinematic Universe Franchises as a whole are owned by JKR and not by me. I make no profit from writing this piece of fanfiction.
Summary: Is Peter Parker the next Iron Man?
A/n: Just a quick alternative take on a scene from Spider-Man: Far From Home riffing on a response that the composer George Gershwin supposedly got when asking to study under another great composer. (possibly Ravel or Schoenberg or accounts vary)

I just got back from it. I don’t know if it’s just not seeing a film in cinema since the pandemic or what but it really blew me socks off.

Anyway, super happy to have gone out and seen on the big screen!

Granted it's not what I was supposed to be writing and is entirely new franchise and genre to me. But it's still a thing!

It's about 600 words, a ficlet and it's a fix-fic for Avengers Endgame/WandaVision and assumes you are familiar with the MCU.

On the off chance that that appeals anyone here. (And I take no offense that it probably won't.) it's here: link

I'm happy to have written something though.

Marvel's first solo heroine movie:

It's a crying shame that they didn't get to it before DC stole a march on them with Wonder Woman. And I hope it does well. I can;t help but feel if it's only as good as Doctor Strange or Ant-Man or one of the more run on the mill origins story, it's going to be a failure thanks to sexism.

but to say that anywhere would get the sexists in uproar. "We just don't like it because it's not good" etc etc. And of course I'm a bit sexist as well because I would never think that about a male movie or maybe not sexist myself just cynical about everyone else's sexism.

Anyway. I'm looking forward to it.

I just got back from seeing Spider-Man: Homecoming, I’m still pretty amped up from it. So it definitely did something write. I’m a sourpuss and loathe to admit it but it is all things considered it’s probably to best Spider-Man movie that’s been made yet. On average.
