And then I can't summon the energy. Some quick points:

• hp_adoptaprompt is going. It doesn't include hp_het_taboo but does include many other fests including hp_kinkfest, so if you have any prompts that went unclaimed there you can give them a second shot at life.


• Things: one, two, three from my self-challenge. i'm not going with a hard goal this month, but I do want to try something longer.


• Perhaps Al/Roxy as suggested by Tamlane at Next Gen Summer Heat.


• I've also wanted to do a longer UST based fic at somepoint. the only pairing that comes to mind is Harry/Demelza but then thats a pairing me and tam invented out of thin air for that purpose...


• smutty_claus is running again this year one hopes. But it comes to mind, like my last three SC's fic have had the exact same plot. Need to try and think of something new this year...

I still have to read through your ficlets, and I can't wait. But zero time this summer. My own self-challenge didn't go as well as yours, alas! I'm still writing my long Lugo story! I'm on chapter 33 at the moment, but hopefully 3-4 more chapters and it's done. *crosses fingers* Can't wait to resolve the tension of the first 30 chapters!

Smutty Claus is definitely running, Nightfalltwen is well excited for that. I'll probably be a pinch hitter this year, considering my terrible performance from last year.

tamlane's Summer Heat is so yummy, I cannot look at it without having all sorts plot bunnies trying to hop around! Especially when she prompts the Lugo! <333

I think hitting chapter 33 on anything is a huge acheivement, self-challenge or no.

Ooh! Well I hope you get to write something for it. Though I also hope we don't need too many pinch-hitters for it.

It's not actually been so hot here but it is a bit variable through out the day. I usually start of wearing an extra layer and have to shed it about lunch time.
