still hot and no rain here.

But i am hearing the constant roll of thunder and can see lighting flashes in the surrounding clouds. Only saw one actual bolt come down though.

I know you're pain. Jamaica hasn't been having too much rain lately either. I really can't handle another summer of drought and right now Kingston is 31° (according to Google on my mobile).
