Update
It's a good thing we're not doing SED anymore. Seeing as I haven't posted all week. It's been a odd one, worked monday, had a couple of days off with a visiting friend (male), we played Star Wars Battlefront II, watched Demolition Man, Galazy Quest and Talledega Nights: Legend of Ricky Bobby and add much junk food.
then i went back to work and had a one-to-one with my boss on the friday for the first time since he started at the start of February. Which was good, i may have not presented myself in the best light but he had nothing but good things to say. so that was encouraging.
Usual woes with self-prompting and fandom inspiration. I kind of want to get back to writing longer pieces even if they are one shots than drabbles and ficlets. But nothing much is popping to mind.
Currently Re-reading the Honor Harrington series, a not very good but okay as a light read series of space navy books.
Folks are back on tuesday, late i think, so i guess i need to go some cleaning tomorrow.

LMAO! I love when you describe your days spent with friends. They always sound so laid back and filled with things that you really enjoy. Hmm.. junk food + films, who wouldn't like that? I'm terrible at playing every kind of video-game though, but I'm sure they're a great way of passing the time when you enjoy them.
Well, it's good to hear that your boss only had good things to say to you! Very encouraging. :) Oh, when I was in England for my Erasmus, my flatmates always teased me because I was the tidiest person there (1 flat, 12 people - 8 guys, 4 girls - and most importantly 1 shower and 1 toilet!!!). I even tidied up some of their rooms, because they honestly made me feel sick. But then the amount of banter was ridiculous, thank you very much! >.<
Oh what do you mean "longer pieces"? I'm on chapter 23 of a story that should have ended on chapter 20. And I can't see the end at all! Blimey. And I know for sure that only two people are going to read it: me after I've finished and need to edit it, and the unfortunate person who'll get picked to beta it! BUT it's the first novel-length Lugo out there - in English, you should see the amount of them in Spanish, Portuguese and Italian! - so I'm excited. :D But I can't wait to finish it and start on the fic that Alisanne commissioned me for Fandomaid!! Really excited about that one too! :D
It was my mum's birthday yesterday and we had soooo much to eat last night it's ridiculous. We ordered Japanese/Chinese takeaway and had sushi, tempura, goma wakame, edamame, shrimps, soy noodles with beans, etc. And my sister owns a bar so she brought home a gigantic meringata (a tall meringue cake with whipped cream and marron glacé inside, made specifically for my mum) and I still feel sick for all the food. And today my mum's cousin is here, so she made an apple pie and we'll have some summer food because it's boiling hot these days. And on Monday we'll celebrate with our uncle and aunt and cousins and she made a chocolate cake. Honestly though.. Too much.
I always write too much. Hey, is it hot in England? Here it's ridiculously hot. xxx

By longer peices i meant like one shots a few thousand words long. Just longer than the 500 word drabbles and 1,000-1,500 short fics I've been doing lately. Not long long fics like the novel length stuff you do. I have no idea how you even manage it.

It's been pretty warm not superhot though except our office building at work gets incredibly hot anyway so i'm dreading it actually getting really hot here.
