SED 13:I am a sap.

And Stephen Fry is a decent reader. Listening to Deathly Hallows audiobook at the moment, and the ad bits are making me feel sad.

Did I mention my mp3 player? I lost it, I think on the train. So I send an email to Virgin Trains and they sent me a very apologetic letter and a money off voucher. Despite the fact I hadn't been complaining at all and just inquiring as to their lost & found... I had the distinct impression they get so many complaints they can't read them all.

But at least the savings from the voucher were enough for the new mp3 player. Last version of the brand i got. Alas, new is not improved while mostly being okay. They managed to totally mess up the support for transferring playlists from windows media player. or custom playlists in formats other than m3u which require duplicating the files on the thing. They also changed the power adapter so i can't use my old chargers/connectors.

So hence I am listening to audiobooks instead of music.

This has been a post. One I stayed up later than i should trying to figure out what I could say. Crashing and burning on sed in 3... 2...

I've just gotten into audiobooks. I can't say I'm sold on the format but it is helping with a particularly difficult book (Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel) that I just can't seem to sit down and read. I started listening to HP as well. Stephen Fry is a gem. I've always loved him but hearing him here and on Pottermore's excerpts make me love him more. His voice is very soothing. Youtube has full audiobooks. God bless Youtube.

That's very nice of Virgin, then again, it's not like Branson is lacking in money. I feel like these bigger companies understand that a tiny cost here will make up bad press and maybe a lawsuit in the future. Plus, a travel voucher isn't going to cost them much considering they can write off Comps for tax purposes.

I hate when products upgrade and get such a major overhaul. Apple does that all the time. Their adapters and chargers are never transferable.

I love Stephen Fry! But would you believe I've never listened to any of the HP audio books? Of course, I have no MP3 player, no smart phone, etc. because I'm terrible at dealing with change. So I can totally understand your new device frustration. :\
