Possibillities

So I'm pretty sure I have made this post before or one very like it. Nevertheless

So muse, dead. But my previous quote was not entirely on the ball. There are possibly things I could attempt:

• fortheloveofhp's bonus content. Neville centric and no sign up for bonus content. Deadline august


• hprarefest Deadline in a month, seem to allow claiming right up until then. Any rarepairing.

These are fests I feel like I ought to support and should be able to write for. i mean i like Neville and I don't write much differently from Harry, just even more emphasis on clueless sexiness. Or do unexpectantly rough sexgod!Neville. And any rarepair should be heaven. I can even do next-gen and basically do oc/oc fic.

But I dunno. Doing fest becuase i should never seems to work out well. I'm writing less and reading way less. I've said it before but HP fan-feels are the wane. I don't want to give up or take a long break because then I might never write again and that's sad.

Bleh. Minor woes on the big scale of things i know.

The longer I don't write, the harder it is to get back into it for sure. But yeah, it's hard to want to sign up when you're not feeling it.

yeah that's what I'm afraid of. I guess I should just try some drabbles. But I do feel like I want to write longer fic again as well. hp_may_madness is something i'm going to be look at as well. Just 200 words a day...

Hmm, it may depend which layout we're using because I still don't see anything. I think I am still one behind whatever the current thing is.

The longer I don't write the easier it is to get back to a project once my muse is back. Maybe a break is what you need to recharge.

You know what you should try? The Number Game at rare pair shorts (am on iPad, too lazy to put in Lj links). You have to keep it between 500 and 1,500 words, no need to sign up (just need to get your rare pairings), deadline on May 20th. I wasn't sure I'd be able to write something that short, but I managed to draw Lily/Hugo (out of all the rare pairings!!) and I couldn't resist.. Of course I can't find anybody who wants to beta it now... I wonder why! Pfft, I'm about to spam AO3 with Hugo/Lily anyway (writing my third story in three weeks). Muhahaha.. ;) x

That's sweet, thanks, but no thanks. If you're already on the verge of a hiatus, I wouldn't want to be the one causing you to abandon fandom because of my story. But thank you. xx

I definitely wouldn't suggest signing up for anything just because you feel like you should. Forcing yourself to try and write when you aren't really feeling it is probably the surest way to kill your interest in writing altogether.
