Hey guys! Just letting you know about a couple of great fests going on at the moment: First me and tamlane are still running our very first fest over at hp_het_taboo, the dirtywrong comment fest. Any prompts that conform to our Taboos: infidelity, incest, abuse of authority, consent issues, bstiality, underage, age disparities, dangerous sex or necrophilia. And can be filled with fanworks of any nature so long as they contain explicit heterosexual activity.

We're about halfway through the fest now. So its open for another week and a half. We've got lots of great prompts and fills already but we're always eager for more!



The other is starting today and is Humpathon 2014 at hp_humpdrabbles, leave a prompt at this fest and it can be filled with a suggestive or naughty drabble (100-500 words long). Community rules apply so fills must be rating pg-13 above, the characters must be above 16 (age of cosent in the UK) and cannot contain incest, rape or bestialty.

But that still leaves an awful lot of room for your favourite characters getting naughty, and its a great way to get some quick writing practise done. I'll be attempting to prompt and fill for it while its open this month.

I'm currently at work on one fill for your taboo fest. There are a couple of other prompts that interested me too, so hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in more than one. We'll see how it goes.

The Humpathon was my first foray into fests and/or exchanges, and I definitely plan to take part in that again too.

No, they did a good job matching me up. I've got a little over 2000 words written thus far, and I have a pretty good idea how the rest of the story will unfold.

Of course! It's one of our favorite events to run -- mostly because it always has a good turnout, produces good drabbles, and is pretty hands off as far as modding goes. I'll take a look at the prompts for hp_het_taboo, but I'm pretty vanilla and boring when it comes to smut. >.>

HA! I've considered it, but I'm in a new job (since July), and I don't want to get caught writing sex at work. I'm almost (not not quite) finished with my 90 day probationary period. And I like being gainfully employed. ;)

Well we'd love to have you write for the comm of course but no pressure if its not your thing. Still, things don't have to terribly dark or kinky to fit our definition of taboo, things like the workplace prompts you've put up at humpathon would could. But yeah, no pressure. :)
