Yeah, they enabled something called DirectWrite. Bring up a new tab and write chrome://flags in the address bar. The fourth option down is "Disable DirectWrite", enable this and then restart Chrome. It worked for me.
You know what I noticed? I noticed that when I am on my Friends Feed page and there are some new posts I don't get those little numbers between brackets up on the tab name (with Chrome) that told me that there were new posts. They were useful, especially when you have a gazillion tabs open. I've already complained on their LJ_feedback thingy..
