OMG my husband is always saying to use Bing. UGH When I use google it at least finds the shit I am actually looking for. That NEVER happens with Bing. /rant
LOL
To answer your real question, I use Chrome. What I'd noticed is that suddenly my unread emails are in bold (in hotmail and yahoo anyway). The other thing I've noticed is more and more webpages are changing their layouts and that does tend to effect font sizes, too.
Yeah, they enabled something called DirectWrite. Bring up a new tab and write chrome://flags in the address bar. The fourth option down is "Disable DirectWrite", enable this and then restart Chrome. It worked for me.
Try enabling it. It sounds ridiculous to enable "Disable DirectWrite" I know, someone at Google didn't think that one through, but the background of this option should be white if the option is activated.
You know what I noticed? I noticed that when I am on my Friends Feed page and there are some new posts I don't get those little numbers between brackets up on the tab name (with Chrome) that told me that there were new posts. They were useful, especially when you have a gazillion tabs open. I've already complained on their LJ_feedback thingy..
Ooooooh! This is such a difficult question for me! I have no clue. Oh, you mean the new layout of the Friends Feed? The non-customised one? I don't know, I just know that it was so useful, all I had to do was keeping the tab open and then just look at the label up there and if it had a number between brackets before the title it meant that something had happened... But now is gone.. >.< Stupid LJ. xx
Butting in but I think I must have stolen your little numbers because for me it ALWAYS says there is (1) but until it says (2) there isn't actually a new post. It makes me crazy because when I see that I feel like there should be a new post but I know there isn't one.
That would drive me up the wall. It happened to me with the messages while they were broken last week. My little envelope had an orange number 1 on it even when there was nothing in there. Then I got a message and it disappeared. Then I got a new one and it reappeared and it wouldn't go away until I got a new one again.
