James Sirius Potter crept into the family home at the crack of dawn - tired but happy with the night's exertions. Still, he was in desperate need of a shower being covered in sweat, perfume and make up, some of it was his, most of it decidedly wasn't.
He found Al already waiting outside the bathroom door.
"Lily?" James asked. "How long?"
"Until she runs out of hot water." Al said lifting his wand.
The shower was charmed never to run out of water. Until Al ended that charm.
There was the screech of someone who's shower had become ice-cold instantly.
The door burst open and Lily stepped out, wrapped in a towel. She was trembling, tiny and furious. She looked around and James was the first and only person she could see. She glared and a denial died on James' lips.
"You're in hot water, James!" Lily snarled.
"You're not though," said Al, from behind the door, out of the line of sight, and fire. James looked it at him, silently asking why? and got a wink and a thumbs up in response.
His legs bypassing his befuddled brain, James turned tail and ran.
He was going to kill Al.
