Episode review. Spoilers under the cut.
SNW does a holodeck episode. A prototype holodeck is installed on the Enterprise. La'an tests it as a murder mystery set around the cast and crew of an Eratz Star Trek set in 1969. Involves a shallow parody of TOS as the teaser. I'm frankly disgusted they stooped to Paul Wesley doing a tired old take on Shatner's voice, it flipflops to being shameless self-congratulatory about TOS's influence as well.
The safeties go down, the holodeck endangers the ship, same old, same old.
Then there's romance between Spock and La'an. Because what those characters need is more doomed romance subplots.
Pretty unhappy with this season.
