"You'll love Herbology," Lily Luna Potter said to her new best friend, on their second day of Hogwarts, "Everyone loves Herbology."
"What plants and stuff?" said Olivia West-Smith. "It doesn't sound that good."
"It's not the plants. it's the Professor, he's a legend."
"A School teacher?"
"Not when he was a teacher," Lily said, "he was really popular when he was a student here, everyone loved him, and when Death Eaters took over the place he led a rebellion against them and saved my dad's life. Chopped a Basilisk’s head off."
"I don't know who your dad is."
Lily sighed.

Having convinced Olivia of the importance of Herbology, Lily sat down with her at the front of their first class and waited.
And waited.
Ten minutes later, long after the bell had rung a portly round-face man, wearing an earth-coloured or perhaps just dirty cardigan over robes ran into the greenhouse and faced the class. He looked around his desk, hopelessly.
"Sorry kids, I've forgotten the register and the plants," said Professor Neville Longbottom and ran off again.
"That's your legend?" Olivia asked.
"Yeah, he's great," Lily Luna said, propping her head on her hands and giving a lovelorn sigh.
