Start of July Update

Obligatory: where has half the year gone?

It's warm and humid here. It peaked at 28 C yesterday and it's cooling. The house like to retain heat though. Currently 2137 with the window wide open and it's 22.7C and 61% humidity. Fun o fun. I resorted to my fan on the really hot days. That is to say a fan heater with the heater bit switched off.

As to fandom, same old same old. 10 days written. Six drabble comm drabbles written. 1 gift ficlet and two fics for hphet (here and here) both of which are more... transgressional than my norm shall we say. Nice to have done them though

Shouldn't compare even to myself but I checked my 24 spreadsheet and this time last year. I'd written on 63 days and done nearly 22K of writing. this time I've done just over 17K on 60 days. Now this is still way more than I did pre-GYWO but each year is a bit of a decline again.

The difference is that I had a couple of series of themed flashfics that I did last year. The end of a blowjob themed one and the other Nextgen smut. This year has been mostly drabbles. As ever I wish I had more longer fic ideas to write.

Still can't complain really. On track.

Congrats on the writing days! Maybe it's a bit less but still it's something. It's too bad there seem to be fewer and fewer events but I think we say that every year. LOL

Sorry about the heat. That sounds terrible. :/ I hope it cools off soon.
