"Hey girlie, dance with me?" said a guy to a girl he'd cornered on the dance floor. "Don't be like that"

"Leave her alone," James Sirius Potter said.

"What's it to you?"

The man whirled on James, who wasn't as tall, broad or tattooed as him but still held his ground, poised for action.

Perhaps the guy noticed, or saw the many people nearby with a family resemblance to James. He retreated.

"I expect you're trying to get with me too, for that?" The woman snapped and flounced off.

James shrugged.

A good deed was it's own reward after all.
