The Welsh Reserve didn't quite have the same excitement and variety as Romania, Charlie Weasley thought but there were certain compensations. Even in the worst jobs the newest handlers had to do.
"One bag of dragon dung," he said, hoisting up a bag of the Reserve's finest and placing it on the table. The Farmer's market bustled around him.
It was wishful thinking but Neville Longbottom's eyes seemed to follow his arm as he hoisted it up.
"Six sickles."
Neville paid and turned to go.
"See you next week?" Charlie said, hopefully.
"Oh… right… probably." Neville said and hurried off.
Neville Longbottom envied Charlie's ability to hoist the heavy bag without seeming effort. Neville had to use both hands and he was quick breathing heavily carrying it.
He opened the bag and slowly went around his flower beds and greenhouses sprinkling the dragon dung as he went.
It really was good fertiliser, that's why he went to the market. Why he started at least, why he kept going on other hand…
The third of a bag went on the compost heap. Neville looked at it then shrank it with his wand.
Looked like he'd have to get more next week.
