harry100's Prompt #511: "Cloudy". This was going to be Harry PoV but I tried to make a little more original by flipping the script.

Parvati Patil could have apparated to work or taken the floo, either would have got her there in moments. Instead, she walked.
In theory, the sun was up but you couldn't tell, it was too cloudy. Dark clouds rolled above Parvati's head, matching her mood.
Ever since Nott had become Minister Of Magic over Hermione Granger it was hardly worth going to work. Each days offers to let people reason came down a long with reclassifications of who and what counted as beings and creatures as far as her department was concerned.
Sighing deeply Parvati plodded her way to work.
Too soon, Parvati entered the Ministry Atrium and listlessly made her way over to the lifts. She wasn't alone though.
"Hi Parvati," said a voice. "How are you doing?"
Parvati looked and felt a lurch in her stomach. Harry Potter had followed her into the lift and was smiling at her.
"Fine." Parvati lied.
Harry surveyed her. His emerald eyes twinkled and she felt as if she were being X-Rayed.
"Really?" he said gently.
"Oh, you know," Parvati said. "Things are changing."
"Tell me about it," Harry said, "over coffee. This evening, maybe?"
Parvati exited the lift into broad sunlight.
