"Do you ever get depressed at the end of term?" James Sirius Potter said to his brother Albus.

"I might," Al said warily. "Are you saying you do? You'll miss the Library and Professor McGonagall's dulcet tones?"

James frowned.

"Not like that."

"You'll be back here in six weeks," Al said.

"I wasn't thinking about me" he said gazing down the table.

Dominique was radiant, grinning and chatting with her friends about the end of their N.E.W.T.s.

"Oh, I see!" Al said and teased him mercilessly.

Which is what you get for opening up to your little brother, James thought.
