James Sirius Potter was reading the cartoons in The Daily Prophet.
"Any good jobs going?" Dad said tentatively.
"Haven't looked," James replied, nonchalantly.
"Umm… maybe you should?" Dad could never discipline them. "You'll need money."
"I just figured I'd inherit a fortune," James said. "Like you did."
James looked around the table, a grin draining from his face, as he saw everyone staring at him.
"What?" James said. "Not any time soon, obviously"
"Well then," Mum said, her voice overly flat. "In the mean time you need some income, don't you?"
"But…" James whined.
"Get. A. Job. James!"
"Yes, Mum."
