Lavender Brown threw her head back with a loud cry and then collapsed over Neville Longbottom's chest.

"That was mind-blowing," she said, after a while. "I'm so lucky I got you, even if I am your rebound girl."

"You're not a rebound," Neville said awkwardly.

Lavender gave him a look.

"You're not. Who else have I been out with? Asked out?" Neville said. "There's just you, so… you don't have to say it was mind-blowing, I can work on it if I I know…"

"Would I lie to you?" Lavender said.

They enjoyed the afterglow feeling much happier after that.
