If nothing else this is film is just an excuse to reuse my 'incomprehensible cowboys' tags. I liked that tag. These Cowboys were more comprehensible than Jeff Bridges in True Grit but this is balanced out by them not having anything interesting to say. In fact I think at least have the dialogue is 'people ask Daniel Craig a question' Followed either by him not knowing or remembering the answer, or by him simply punch the questioner in the face.

For a film with James Bond, Han Solo and the director of Iron Man, I was expecting something a lot more fun...

It was an odd movie, no doubt. I sat through it feeling like I should have been able to pick up my channel changer and click around to other stations when it got to the less interesting parts.

I mean, I really wanted to like it---it had all the people you mentioned PLUS Paul Dano and Sam Rockwell....but I just couldn't get that enthusiastic about anything happening on-screen. At the end of it, I started to wonder if I'd actually just watched this movie or not. It was a very curious sensation.

And I found Bridges perfectly comprehensible in TG.
